Tomorrow I'm going to my first Anime Con.

I have no idea what to expect.

Saturday I'm dressing as Haruka Shitow from Rahxephon. One of the few non-teen aged characters that look cool (in my limited Anime experience). I've been dressing up as my favorite characters from movies, books & history since I was little. Just didn't know it was "cosplay".

Jafax was lots of fun. I can't wait until Youmacon!

I'm a Wife, Mom of 2 (Bella is my canine daughter, CJ is my human son), Annoying "Sister" to 3, I have a part time receptionist job, I love good Anime/Manga, historical anything (Medieval to Victorian) and fantasy everything. I try not to mix them...it's kind of like mixing your booze, not a good combination.
My favorite arts are: Costuming, Illumination, Calligraphy, Manga, Sketching, Writing & Embroidery. My grandma taught me to be diverse...
I'm trying to find time to keep up with my art skills, but I find it difficult to keep up with everything. Especially with the 2 year old...

I'm supposed to be working on curtains...but instead I've created this account...and I'd really rather be working on a new Edwardian corset, but I have set this task that I have to do the curtains for my mother in law first...*sigh* I am afraid of straight lines. Give me curves that I can fudge any day.
